Dr. Dominique Turnquest

Dominique Khadian Turnquest has been practicing medicine since 2010, after a brief foray into medical research at the TROPICAL METABOLISM RESEARCH UNIT. Her medical degree was obtained from the UNIVERSITY OF THE WEST INDIES, MONA.

During this time, she discovered her love and passion for anesthesia and vigorously pursued it as a specialty. She obtained her Doctor of Medicine in Anesthesia and Intensive Care in 2016.

Since then she has had a diverse range of work experience including a specialist children’s hospital.

Having decided to rekindle her roots, she came to the Bahamas in 2017 where she is currently working at the Princess Margaret Hospital as Senior Registrar and Associate Lecturer.

Her professional interests include paediatric anesthesia, regional anesthesia and Intensive care. Her personal interests include learning all things new; instruments and languages and include pursuing her Christian faith.
